We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to join a project - a clinical trial technology platform. It’s designed to digitize, streamline, and accelerate clinical trial operations across the full study lifecycle. The solution represents an end-to-end clinical trial management ecosystem that integrates multiple tools into one platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend solutions and contribute to architectural decisions in a distributed, cloud-based environment.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core and C#
Build and evolve scalable microservices within a distributed architecture
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
Participate in system design and architectural discussions
Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA specialists
Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of backend services
Implement event-driven solutions and asynchronous communication patterns
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing services
Contribute to CI/CD and containerized deployment workflows
Requirements:
Strong experience with .NET Core / C# - at least 5 years
Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture
Experience with Event-Driven Architecture
Solid knowledge of REST APIs design and development
Experience with SQL / Relational Databases
Experience working with Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
Good communication and collaboration skills
Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher
Nice to have:
Experience in the healthcare domain
Experience with clinical trials or clinical research platforms
Understanding of regulatory requirements in healthcare environments
