Job Description

TradingView is the world’s #1 platform for all things investing. 100M+ users trust us to inform their trading decisions. The UDF team supports several services within the TV infrastructure. We are developing a data bus that transmits trading data across the entire UDF (Universal Data Feed) backend. But we are building the UDF Proxy.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-throughput backend services in Go for trading data transport
  • Solve complex challenges around concurrency, reliability, and performance in distributed systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, data, infra) to ensure seamless integration of transport services
  • Participate in architectural discussions, propose solutions, and own delivery of key components
  • Write clean, tested, maintainable code and perform peer reviews
  • Help troubleshoot live issues and improve system monitoring and observability

Requirements

  • 5+ years professional experience in backend development with significant work in Go
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, high-load services, and asynchronous communication
  • Solid experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and designing schemas for performance
  • Deep knowledge of concurrency patterns and performance optimization in Go
  • Experience with message brokers, real-time protocols, or streaming systems is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable with Linux environments and common DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers, observability)

Nice to have

  • Experience in finance or trading domain
  • Familiarity with TradingView as a product
