Senior Azure DevSecOps Engineer

• Oversee and optimise Azure infrastructure while designing secure CI/CD pipelines with embedded automated security controls
• Lead threat and risk assessments (TRAs), conduct security scanning, and perform continuous monitoring to proactively prevent intrusions
• Design and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and KQL
• Provide specialist technical advice to support the integration of passenger information applications and real-time scheduling systems
• Ensure all cloud services, including Power Platform and Microsoft 365, align with strict government security standards and Zero Trust principles

• Between four to six years of experience in cloud engineering and security operations within a medium to large organisation
• Advanced skills in Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, and containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Proven experience in managing security layers (identity, network, and data) and operating monitoring solutions like Grafana
• Experience working within the full software development life cycle (SDLC) using both Agile and traditional project management methods
• Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills to effectively engage with technical teams and leadership stakeholders
• Must be a Brisbane-based candidate with unlimited working rights
