Senior Automation Tester

ABOUT THE JOB Lead and mentor development team members regarding QA activities, guiding the project team to ensure successful and high-quality product deployments Develop a comprehensive QA strategy for the project that addresses all critical quality characteristics, prioritizing automation over manual testing to enhance efficiency and minimize defects Continuously improve quality processes and activities by implementing early testing practices, including Shift-left testing, across the team and project Analyze product requirements and design documents, contributing expertise to ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation Assist the development team in implementing mutation testing tools to enhance unit test quality, and provide visualization of results using graphical tools Design test cases based on a deep understanding of requirements and effective testing techniques Conduct essential testing activities from task initiation to delivery, tracking and managing defects as they arise Review and provide feedback on team members' test cases to ensure thorough and consistent test coverage Work as a hybrid QA, developing automation test scripts for assigned projects Continuously improve workflows and share best practices across the team Generate new ideas and contribute to the development and growth of the QA department Provide support, conduct reviews, and offer necessary training to team members Standardize project data and create an automated dashboard to track and manage the progress, status, and quality of the project Build and maintain dashboards to visualize key metrics such as automation coverage, trends, and performance results.
