Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Automation Developer to lead the quality assurance efforts for large-scale enterprise systems. This role is designed for a technical QA professional who can balance robust Selenium-based UI automation with sophisticated API and Database validation. You will be responsible for identifying automation opportunities, designing structured test frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability of both custom and COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) applications.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium to validate complex application functionality across GUI and non-GUI environments
Conduct deep-dive testing of RESTful APIs using Postman and SOAP UI to ensure seamless communication between enterprise service layers
Utilize strong SQL skills to perform backend testing, prepare complex test data sets, and validate data integrity throughout the testing lifecycle
Investigate and analyze defects, performing root-cause analysis in collaboration with developers and stakeholders to implement long-term solutions
Lead manual testing activities when required, including functional, integration, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business clients
Identify manual processes within the SDLC that are candidates for automation to improve overall organizational workflow and efficiency

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of QA experience specifically on large-scale enterprise systems
3+ years of dedicated experience in Automation Testing, with expert-level proficiency in Selenium UI automation
Proficiency in Postman, SOAP UI, and version control systems
Advanced experience writing and executing SQL queries for result validation and test data setup
Solid understanding of QA best practices, including test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting within structured methodologies
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and build strong relationships with business stakeholders
