We are looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, conducting thorough financial and operational audits, and identifying areas for process improvements. Job Responsibility:
Conduct comprehensive audits of financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
Develop and execute detailed audit plans, including the identification of key risks and controls
Analyze audit findings and prepare clear, actionable reports for senior management
Collaborate with various departments to address and resolve identified issues and improve internal processes
Assess the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend enhancements where necessary
Provide insights on financial and operational risks, offering solutions to mitigate potential problems
Ensure all audit activities are completed within specified timelines and meet organizational standards
Monitor regulatory updates and ensure audit practices align with current requirements
Support the implementation of process improvements based on audit outcomes
Maintain detailed documentation of audit procedures, findings, and recommendations
Requirements:
Proven experience in financial and operational auditing, with a strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
Expertise in creating and executing detailed audit plans
Ability to analyze complex audit findings and communicate results effectively
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and operational processes
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in audit documentation and reporting tools
Effective collaboration and communication skills across departments
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
