Job Description:

The Senior Auditor is responsible for conducting moderately complex audits, assessing Citi's risk and control environment, contributing to audit improvements, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Perform moderately complex audits including drafting audit reports, presenting issues to the business, and discussing practical solutions
complete assigned audits within budgeted timeframes and costs
monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to emerging risks
contribute to audit process improvement including development of automated routines
apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely assurance
develop effective line management relationships to ensure strong understanding of the business
act as SME to senior stakeholders and team members
appropriately assess risk during business decisions, demonstrating consideration for firm’s reputation and compliance.

Requirements:

5-8 years of relevant experience
effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
subject matter expertise regarding audit technology’s application
effective project management skills
effective influencing and relationship management skills
demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
internal auditing skills
advanced English proficiency (written)
analytical profile, self-management, attention to detail, organization, teamwork, resilience.

Nice to have:

Internal Audit Certification – CIA
knowledge of digital channels and branch operations
proficiency in tools such as Excel and/or Access.
