Responsible for performing quarterly audit engagements year-round to help identify and manage risks to the business. Participate as active members of the engagement team throughout each phase (i.e., planning, execution and reporting). With our standard engagement cadence, the individual in this role will gain broad exposure to our businesses and processes. Work collaboratively and independently to conduct audits across operational, financial, regulatory and/or technology areas across the Company.
Job Responsibility:
Execute aspects of the standard internal audit process (planning, execution, reporting)
Perform inquiry and data analysis to understand business operations, assess risk and develop project scope
Contribute to planning efforts for engagement timeline and approach
Evaluate records, documents, methods, policies, costs to determine compliance with policies, GAAP, and legal requirements
Apply appropriate audit procedures to ensure controls are tested and risks addressed
Prepare clear and well-organized audit work papers
Formulate conclusions and document findings based on testing results
Identify audit findings and recommend corrective actions
Assist less experienced team members
Identify opportunities for improvement to audit methodology, tools and training
Support department objectives and perform other duties as assigned
Exercise independent judgment and discretion
Maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
5-7 Years of relevant work experience
In-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline
Experience in performing audit engagements
Ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
