Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Senior Audio Designer to join the development of a new IP. Feed your creativity while collaborating with our team of highly skilled developers to build something innovative, exhilarating, and expansively entertaining! As a member of the Audio department, you’ll help record, edit, design and implement sound effects, as well as design interactive audio systems for various aspects of the game. As a member of the project, you’ll help take the studio and our game from great to even better; with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.
Job Responsibility:
Defining the interactive audio systems required to create the soundscape of the games features you will be working on, while populating these audio systems with world class SFX assets
Designing the game’s audio content, from asset creation to final implementation, while staying in close communication with the audio team-leads and audio programming team
Bringing autonomy, strong communication skills, and the confidence to suggest and implement bold new ideas as one of the first members of the team
Contributing as a core member of the audio team, using your experience to help grow the team creatively, technologically, and socially
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience working as an audio designer in the games industry, with the ability to deliver high-quality audio for game projects independently
Strong experience with game engines, audio middleware, DAW, audio design, tools
Strong knowledge of audio middleware such as Wwise or FMOD
Strong sound design skills, ranging from asset creation to final implementation
Knowledge of audio tools, DAW, VST
Understanding of game editor logic, visual scripting
Field recording and audio hardware knowledge are preferred
Nice to have:
Knowledge of audio library management tools such as SoundMiner is nice to have
