Job Description

As a Senior Auction Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our auction operations. From handling calls and emails to managing property viewings and liaising with contractors, you’ll ensure the smooth running of our auctions and deliver exceptional service to clients and colleagues alike.

Job Responsibility

  • Professional company image: Represent Eddisons incorporating Pugh & Co with a smart, courteous, and professional attitude at all times
  • Telephone management: Answer incoming calls efficiently and courteously, ensuring enquiries are handled promptly
  • Mailbox management: Prioritise and respond to emails throughout the day, keeping communication clear and timely
  • Message logging: Record and distribute telephone and email messages accurately to the relevant team members
  • Post and keys preparation: Manage outgoing post, franking machine funding, and property keys
  • Administrative support: Assist with printing, scanning, chasing documents, and updating databases
  • Property viewings: Create and manage viewing schedules with our agents, ensuring smooth coordination
  • Auction boards: Request, log, and manage signage installations on properties
  • Task prioritisation: Organise workload proactively to meet deadlines and support the team
  • Professional liaisons: Communicate respectfully with external suppliers, clients, and colleagues
  • Legislation compliance: Ensure all duties adhere to relevant legislation and company policies
  • Health & Safety: Follow company working practices and health & safety requirements
  • Operations support: Assist the Operations Manager and Auction Administrators as needed
