We are looking for an experienced Senior Attorney to join our transactional business practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in handling business transactions, commercial contracts, and litigation experience with a proven ability to represent small to mid-sized businesses effectively. This position is fully on-site and offers an opportunity to bring your own clients while contributing to a growing practice.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee a variety of business transactions, including leases, customer agreements, and commercial contracts
Represent clients in civil litigation cases, providing strategic legal counsel and advocacy
Negotiate and draft legal contracts to ensure compliance with business laws and regulations
Collaborate with clients to address transactional matters, offering tailored legal solutions
Utilize case management software to organize and track legal proceedings efficiently
Handle real estate leases and other property-related agreements with precision
Conduct legal research and briefing to support case strategies and decision-making
Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional legal services
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of legal processes
Provide proactive advice to help clients navigate complex business challenge
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in business litigation and transactional law
Proven expertise in handling commercial contracts, legal agreements, and business transactions
Strong proficiency in case management software and legal research tools
Extensive knowledge of business laws and regulations applicable to small and mid-sized enterprises
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and draft real estate leases and other contractual agreements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including legal briefing and advocacy
Ability to bring a book of business with established client relationships
Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida
