Counsel individuals and families on estate planning strategies, including the preparation of wills, trusts, and transfer structures designed to meet personal and financial objectives
Lead probate and trust administration matters through each stage of the process, ensuring timely progress, accurate filings, and practical issue resolution
Oversee the quality and accuracy of legal work produced by less-experienced attorneys and support staff, offering direction as matters progress
Mentor junior attorneys through feedback and day to day collaboration to strengthen the overall practice team
Manage a full workload independently while maintaining high standards of responsiveness, organization, and client service
Contribute to a cooperative office culture and support the continued development and success of the practice group
Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar
At least 5 years of legal experience focused on estate planning, trust administration, probate, or related trusts and estates matters
Demonstrated ability to draft high quality legal documents and analyze complex issues with sound judgment
Experience handling matters independently and working directly with clients in an advisory capacity
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly and effectively
Familiarity with briefing, probate related matters, estate planning work, and relevant case management tools
