Senior Attorney

• Manage and coordinate your caseload in different stages of litigation
• Provide comprehensive support to our partners in managing their caseloads efficiently
• Draft legal advice, documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions
• Conduct meticulous and detailed legal research
• Handle court proceedings, including trials and deposition
• Develop a legal approach and strategy to manage cases effectively
• Regular interaction with clients to understand their issues, provide legal advice, and keep them updated on their case matters
• Mentor and guide junior associates, paralegals, and other legal staff members

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Valid license to practice law in New York
• 8+ years of extensive litigation experience
• Proficient in undertaking comprehensive legal research and drafting precise legal documents
• Proven experience in managing a diverse caseload efficiently
• Significant court and deposition experience is required
• Specific experience in zoning, insurance policy, or commercial litigation will be an added advantage but not mandatory
• Stellar written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Must be admitted to practice law and in good standing with the relevant State Bar
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the legal field is required
• Extensive experience in Civil Litigation is mandatory
• Must be a licensed attorney in the state of practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
• Must possess excellent negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong understanding of legal research tools and proficiency in using them
• Proven track record of managing client relationships effectively
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
