Top-tier White Plains law firm that specializes in complex commercial litigation is seeking a Senior Associate to join its team of highly regarded litigators. The firm practices at the highest level in federal and state courts, representing clients in high-profile commercial litigation and government investigations. Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage complex commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution
Conduct in-depth legal research and draft high-quality briefs, motions, and other legal documents
Represent clients in federal and state courts, including handling high-stakes trials and hearings
Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure effective representation
Engage in contract negotiations and settlements, ensuring favorable outcomes for clients
Manage case files and utilize case management software to organize and track litigation progress
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address their legal concerns
Work closely with investigators and experts to gather and analyze evidence for cases
Contribute to the firm’s reputation for excellence through a commitment to quality and high standards
Requirements:
NY Barred Attorney in good standing
5+ years of relevant, attorney experience (candidates from Big Law highly preferred)
Federal clerkship and/or service as Assistant United States Attorney
Previous experience managing / working on large e-discovery productions
A creative legal mind with an out-of-the-box approach to problem-solving
The desire to take ownership of their cases
A strong work ethic to handle the rigors of complex, interesting litigation matters
Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials are required
