RBC Wealth Management Europe provides comprehensive wealth management capabilities through RBC Brewin Dolphin and RBC Wealth Management to private clients, including professionals, inheritors, business owners, entrepreneurs, intermediaries and charities. We help clients meet their financial goals through investments, financial planning, trust, credit, and banking capabilities. The RBC Brewin Dolphin team are seeking a Senior Associate to join them, based in London. The Senior Associate will be principally responsible for maintaining existing client relationships and actively supporting business growth through contribution to team and office business development activities. As a certified person, you will provide regulated advice under the supervision and guidance of a Wealth Manager, whilst ensuring good client outcomes. A key part of the role would entail aspects such as assisting and maintaining the client base alongside a Wealth Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Assist the management of a client base, under guidance of a senior colleague – Wealth Manager
Participate in client meetings and build confidence through support of senior colleagues
Work collaboratively with One RBC partners and functional colleagues across platforms
Always act in the best interest of the client by actively going above and beyond to enhance the client experience. This includes partnering internally to improve processes and timely processing of client requests, etc.
Establish a client specific value proposition and ensure it is unique and differentiating
Own the client strategy, and overall quality of client proposals
Draw on the expertise of RBC to fully leverage complementary solutions and intellectual capital for existing clients
Ensure compliance with all jurisdictional regulations, specifically those related to client confidentiality, Know Your Client, suitability, account opening documentation and verification of client instructions
Identify opportunities to engage, refer to, and collaborate with colleagues across the specialist groups to provide sophisticated, bespoke client solutions
Ensure the specific CPD criteria for Individual memberships of industry bodies are met and records are maintained for reporting purposes
Requirements:
The minimum qualifications required for your specialist area as advised by our licensing scheme e.g. CISI or CII
Registration with the appropriate regulatory body as permitted to give advice
Several years’ experience required within a Wealth Management role
Knowledge of Wealth Management and Client Advice
Ability to learn from experience and be adaptive to new situations
Good communication, analytical, and presentation skills
Ability to meet deadlines within restricted timescales
