Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate Trade Operations specialist to take ownership of critical aspects of the trade lifecycle within our centralized trading function. This role focuses on ensuring smooth operations across equities, fixed income securities, and mutual funds. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in trade settlement, exception management, and operational risk controls.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the full trade lifecycle, including allocations, settlements, and reconciliations
  • Monitor and troubleshoot order execution and allocation flows, resolving issues with brokers, custodians, and internal teams
  • Maintain and enhance multi-custodian connectivity and broker relationships
  • Address and resolve trade exceptions while implementing robust operational controls
  • Provide oversight for workflows that influence trading outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with documented processes and support supervisory reviews
  • Coordinate corporate actions and proxy-related workflows, focusing on voluntary events and deadline-driven operations
  • Operate and optimize trade-away, step-out, and prime brokerage workflows
  • Utilize multiple trading platforms and protocols to support efficient operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in trade operations, trading support, or middle office roles
  • Proven expertise in managing equity trade lifecycles, including blocks, allocations, settlements, and reconciliations
  • Ability to resolve operational exceptions independently under tight deadlines
  • Experience working within compliance-focused environments, including process documentation and incident management
  • Hands-on experience with diverse trading platforms and service models
  • Familiarity with the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol
  • Background in handling corporate actions and proxy-related workflows
