Job Description

We’re seeking a dynamic, experienced Sr Associate, Strategic Projects (Marketplace Lead) to support M&A activities for the EMEA Delivery business. The role reports to the Head of Strategic Projects, EMEA, and works closely with the Regional General Manager and teams across Uber and acquired companies to drive key initiatives that support the new combined business goals and foster growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Overall migration strategy & plan for Marketplace Tech and Operations migration
  • Outlining the approach, key dependencies, and success metrics for a seamless transition
  • Ensure smooth Marketplace outcomes for the acquired businesses in the interim state
  • Manage towards a successful end-state: maintain the acquired businesses' Marketplace outcomes to avoid P&L and Operational headwinds
  • Programme management of the relevant domain’s workstreams, including upward communication to EMEA LT and Global Programme SteerCo
  • Tracking progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and providing regular updates to senior leadership

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in programme management, extensive stakeholder management and domain expertise
  • Experience in collaborate with EMEA Delivery leadership
  • Ability to define and articulate Business Requirements for the relevant Tech features and migration enablers required for the successful integration of the acquired companies into Uber
  • Ensure XFN stakeholders across Tech, Payments, CommOps, and other teams have appropriate prioritisation, representation, and strategic thinking throughout the project
  • Hold all parties across Uber and acquired companies accountable for shared goals and objectives to ensure the programme is delivered on time and within budget
  • Allow the leadership of the acquired companies to focus on running their existing businesses without disruption and support them in achieving their business objectives
