Job Description:

A highly respected City law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor for its leading Commercial Litigation team. The role involves handling high-stakes disputes, managing complex cases, mentoring junior lawyers, and business development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage commercial litigation cases
  • handle contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, fraud, professional negligence, and interim relief applications
  • supervise junior lawyers
  • contribute to strategic decisions
  • perform business development
  • build own profile and client base within commercial litigation space.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least 5 years’ PQE in commercial litigation
  • experience managing complex, document-heavy disputes from inception through to resolution
  • confidence in advocacy (where appropriate), client interaction, and court procedure
  • strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • leadership capabilities and a genuine interest in mentoring and team development
  • experience in arbitration, regulatory investigations, or cross-border litigation is desirable.
