Job Description:

A highly respected City law firm is seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor for its leading Commercial Litigation team. The role involves handling high-stakes disputes, managing complex cases, mentoring junior lawyers, and business development.

Job Responsibility:

Manage commercial litigation cases
handle contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, fraud, professional negligence, and interim relief applications
supervise junior lawyers
contribute to strategic decisions
perform business development
build own profile and client base within commercial litigation space.

Requirements:

Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least 5 years’ PQE in commercial litigation
experience managing complex, document-heavy disputes from inception through to resolution
confidence in advocacy (where appropriate), client interaction, and court procedure
strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
leadership capabilities and a genuine interest in mentoring and team development
experience in arbitration, regulatory investigations, or cross-border litigation is desirable.
