Job Responsibility

Managing your own caseload of claimant multi track cases
Investigating liability by gathering/assessing evidence and establishing negligence
Negotiating quantum with defendant solicitors or representatives
Instructing and liaising with experts
Drafting legal proceedings and dealing with all aspects of litigation / compliance within the civil procedure rules
Instructing and liaising with counsel
Conducting and attending hearings where necessary
Supervising sub-team fast and intermediate track claims handling - coaching, providing guidance and sharing best practise to maximise results
Maintaining client relationships and attending review meetings where appropriate
