Job Description

As a Senior Associate – SEO, you will play a key role in driving the company’s organic growth across traditional search engines and AI-driven answer engines (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity etc.). You will help define and execute a product-led SEO and AEO/GEO roadmap aligned with business goals focusing on qualified traffic, pipeline impact, and visibility, not just rankings. This is a hands-on role with strategic ownership, working closely with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior contributors where required.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute and contribute to the end-to-end SEO and AEO/GEO strategy aligned with company OKRs
  • Build and execute organic growth plans across traditional search engines and AI-driven answer platforms
  • Identify and prioritize high-intent opportunities across the funnel (TOFU → BOFU)
  • Support positioning the brand as a trusted source for AI-generated answers
  • Lead keyword, topic, and entity research with strong intent mapping
  • Decide what content to build, why, and how it drives business impact
  • Collaborate closely with content writers to ensure SEO, UX, and clarity are embedded from the start
  • Apply strong UX principles to content structure, tone, layout, and overall usability
  • Ensure content is optimized for users first, while remaining search- and AI-friendly
  • Track and analyze performance using Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush/Ahrefs, and related SEO tools
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to support SEO initiatives
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SEO or content team members, as needed

Requirements

  • 4–8+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in SaaS or B2B category
  • Experience contributing to or owning SEO strategy execution with measurable impact
  • Strong understanding of AI search, AEO/GEO, and LLM-driven content discovery
  • Deep expertise in keyword research, intent mapping, and content strategy
  • Solid technical SEO knowledge (indexing, crawlability, JS SEO, site architecture)
  • Experience collaborating across teams
  • exposure to mentoring junior team members is a plus
  • Highly hands-on with GSC, GA4, Semrush/Ahrefs, and SEO diagnostic tools
  • Clear, structured, and analytical thinker with strong prioritization skills
