Job Description

The Senior Associate Resource Scheduler at NTT DATA is responsible for efficiently allocating and coordinating resources to ensure timely delivery of IT services. Candidates should have solid experience in resource scheduling and project coordination within a technology services environment. A high school diploma is required, and a project management certification is preferred. The role offers a hybrid working environment and immediate start.

Job Responsibility

  • Receives and processes resource requests
  • Provides related coordination support as aligned to resource scheduling to the delivery teams
  • Provides resource scheduling coordination activities to the immediate team
  • Provides general project planning support
  • Maintains accurate resource schedules of resource assignments, availability, and scheduling changes
  • Assists Resource Schedulers in evaluating project and SLA requirements and related resource needs
  • Monitors schedules to identify scheduling conflicts and assist in resolving them promptly
  • Helps convey resource allocation decisions and schedule changes to relevant parties
  • Assists in tracking resource capacity and availability, including accounting for vacations, training, and non-project work
  • Assists with the coordination of the contractor resource process, from gaining approvals to engaging contractors into the business
  • Performs any other related task as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Completed or working towards completing a project management certification
  • Solid resource scheduling and / or project coordination / administration experience gained within a technology services environment is preferable
  • Solid demonstrated planning, organizing and administrative support experience
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities and demonstrates a high level of teamwork
  • Proactive in approach and thorough attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Service-oriented aptitude with good problem-solving ability
  • Solid expertise in project management coordination
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
