Job Description:

We have been instructed by a top-tier law firm to recruit a Senior Associate into its real estate energy & infrastructure team, one of the strongest practices in the UK market. This role offers the chance to work at the forefront of the energy transition, advising on some of the most complex and high-profile infrastructure projects in the country. The role offers genuine responsibility, early client exposure and close collaboration with leading energy, projects and finance Lawyers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advise developers, investors and lenders on the real estate aspects of major UK energy and infrastructure projects, from early-stage development through to financing, acquisition and disposal
  • Work on a broad range of nationally significant projects, including: Onshore and offshore wind
  • Solar and battery storage
  • Transmission and interconnector infrastructure
  • Hydrogen and gas projects
  • EV and emerging energy technologies

Requirements:

  • 4-8+ PQE in real estate, ideally within energy or infrastructure
  • Qualification in England & Wales, or dual-qualified (E&W/Scotland)
  • Strong experience advising on complex, large-scale projects
  • Excellent technical skills and academic credentials
  • A commercial, solutions-driven mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
  • Interest in innovation, technology and modern working practices
