In this vital role you will serve as the Senior Associate Clinical Raw Material Order Management. Reporting to the Amgen India Lead, you will execute raw material planning, transactional and sourcing activities to support Amgen Thousand Oaks supply chain strategy, service levels, and financial objectives. You will apply standard supply chain and MRP planning principles while ensuring full compliance with cGMP requirements and Amgen procedures, with a strong emphasis on right-first-time execution. You will support end-to-end raw material readiness by coordinating planning, logistics, and execution activities, partnering closely with planning, manufacturing, quality, warehouse, finance, and procurement stakeholders. Operating with a high level of independence, you will be responsible for managing priorities to meet deadlines for end-to-end delivery of raw materials, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders such as planning, manufacturing, quality, warehouse, and finance partners to ensure overall alignment in sourcing activities, engaging with suppliers to achieve optimal terms and performance to effectively support all phases of pre-clinical, clinical and commercial development.
Job Responsibility:
Apply standard supply chain and MRP planning principles to support raw material availability and on-time execution
Coordinate raw material logistical activities, including data validation, issue resolution, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners as applicable
Work effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills
Perform planning and transactional activities with a high level of accuracy, ensuring right first-time execution and data integrity
Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, manufacturing, quality, warehouse, procurement, and finance partners to ensure aligned outcomes
Understand the financial impact of raw material planning and inventory transactions and communicate implications to appropriate stakeholders
Independently deliver assigned work to meet operational objectives, while identifying and implementing process improvements within scope of responsibility
Execute raw material planning and transactional activities in compliance with cGMP requirements and Amgen procedures, ensuring minimal operational disruption
Prepare and communicate regular status updates, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders to support business timelines
Support sourcing and procurement execution by partnering with procurement teams to align raw material plans with business needs and approved sourcing strategies
Manage priorities effectively to meet deadlines and support end-to-end supply chain delivery
Requirements:
Direct experience with MRP planning in SAP or similar ERP systems
Proven strategic sourcing experience
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Issue resolution and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in English language
Master's Degree and 5 years of work experience in sourcing/procurement
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of work experience in sourcing/procurement
Technical Proficiency: Experience in SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point), and other data management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Tableau)
Attention to Detail: High accuracy and with a solid focus on data quality
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical partners

Experience driving cross functional teams and managing complex project timelines
Familiarity with procurement platforms such as Ariba and SAP systems
