Job Description

The Senior Associate, Planning and Insights role is responsible for developing and driving business reporting and data-driven decision making for Invoice Simple and Joist. In this role, you will track, analyze and forecast key business metrics to drive actionable insights and make operational decisions. You will partner with product, marketing and leadership team members to identify growth levers, wins, and risks before they surface while building performance narratives that influence decisions. This role serves as a key analytical partner across Invoice Simple and Joist leadership and reports to the Director of Planning and Insights.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and deliver insightful, executive-ready reporting and dashboards
  • Track business KPIs, SaaS metrics and OKRs
  • Partner with Leadership to analyze performance across new logo acquisition, upsell/cross-sell, and churn
  • Lead regular operational reviews with leadership
  • distill complex signals into crisp, actionable insights
  • Build performance narratives in partnership with leadership
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations to influence budgeting, roadmap, and quarterly planning
  • Identify opportunities through cohort analysis and segmentation
  • Develop performance forecasting models in partnership with business leadership and central EverPro finance and data team members
  • Partner with GTM and Product teams to evaluate strategic bets, model outcomes, and support prioritization
  • Support leadership decision-making through strategic analysis, business cases, and ad-hoc modeling

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in high-growth startup operations, finance, business strategy, consulting
  • Financial modeling expert highly motivated by solving business problems
  • Fluency with SaaS metrics and KPIs
  • Expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis
  • Proven track record of driving growth through data-informed decisions
  • Experience with PLG business models highly valued
