Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Lawyer with expertise in Banking Law and Project Finance to join a leading Greek law firm . This is an excellent opportunity to become a part of a dynamic, highly skilled team of qualified attorneys. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking and corporate finance and will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and representation to our clients.

Job Responsibility:

Conducting consultations with clients to structure potential transactions and assist with their legal implementation
Drafting, commenting on, and negotiating finance documents, such as credit facilities and syndicated/bilateral bond loans
Drafting and negotiating other relevant financing documents, including NDAs, mandate letters, and term sheets
Drafting and negotiating sophisticated security packages and ensuring their perfection
Preparing corporate resolutions related to finance transactions
Checking for the fulfillment of conditions precedent and handling post-closing issues
Staying updated on development programs, RRF financing, and other co-financing or guarantee programs from organizations like EIB
Handling multiple and complex legal issues with initiative and flexibility
Participating in client meetings and conferences
Maintaining consistent and transparent communication with clients regarding case progress and inquiries
Working effectively as an active team member and sharing knowledge with other associates

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in a leading law firm or a large in-house department
A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing banking law with a focus on corporate and project finance
A Bachelor of Law
Qualification as an Attorney-at-Law in Greece
Excellent written communication and drafting skills
Fluency in the English language, including both oral communication and legal writing

Nice to have:

A Master of Laws is desirable
