Job Description:

Senior Associate Law (Contingent Worker) - Fulltime position, Contract until the end December 2026. Purpose: Legal support of cross-functional teams in Poland and Czech & Slovak Cluster in all matters relating to Amgen operations, substantive and administrative support of Lead Legal Counsel for the Countries, legal support of selected tasks/projects with EERT/ELMAC impact.

Job Responsibility:

  • Legal support of cross-functional teams in Poland and Czech & Slovak Cluster
  • Substantive and administrative support of Lead Legal Counsel for the Countries
  • Legal support of selected tasks/projects with EERT/ELMAC impact
  • Provision of legal support based on applicable EU or local legislation
  • Support of contracting & sourcing in cooperation with GSS and RAE
  • Support of Manager in providing legal advice
  • Administrative support of the Manager
  • Monitoring of changes in EU and local legislation
  • Responding to requests for legal support
  • Drafting of legal documents
  • Supporting business negotiations and management of contract templates
  • Continuous oversight of ELMAC contract repository for Countries
  • Monitoring & analysis of changes in legislation
  • Preparation & conduct of legal trainings

Requirements:

  • Law degree from university law faculty or student in 5th grade of law faculty
  • Fluency in English and Czech or Slovak language
  • Typically 2 years related experience and/or at least 1 year direct experience in a training or Legal role (life sciences/health care experience preferred) or in-house in a European or multinational life sciences company, or a combination of both
  • Working with cross-functional teams in international context
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge about applicable laws and regulations in Czechia and Slovakia
  • Knowledge about EU legislation applicable to healthcare & pharmaceutical sector
  • Knowledge of AIFP requirements in Czechia and/or Slovakia preferred

Nice to have:

  • life sciences/health care experience
  • Knowledge of AIFP requirements in Czechia and/or Slovakia
