This position supports the Head of LCA for all the activities related to labor law and employment matters, providing legal advice and support on various legal issues including disputes and claims, internal policy and procedures, and general employment matters

Employee Complaints of Unlawful Activity
Investigations
Bonus Plan Documents (i.e.: Annual Bonus, MBO, Retention Agreements, etc.)
Commissions
New Hire Documentation (Offer Letters, Employee Agreements, etc.)
ADA Accommodation Requests
FMLA / Employee Leaves
Pay Transparency / Equal Pay
Employee Handbook and Employment Policies
Relocation Programs
Wage and Hour (FLSA classification, Final Pay, etc.)
Canadian Employment Matters and Documentation
Wage Garnishments
DEI Communications and Policies
Compliance with New Federal and State Employment Laws
Strictly partners and works alongside P&O Function as new programs and processes are rolled out to ensure compliance
Any other legal matter relating to our employees or compliance with applicable employment laws
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally on occasion
Requirements:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school required
6+ years of legal experience practicing in a broad range of activities, specifically including work on employment matters
BAR Admission Required
Strong communication skills both written and oral
ability to present clear and practical legal positions
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Ability to influence others and to gain support for their ideas
Excellent interpersonal skills
strong working relationships across the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with attention to details and thoroughness
Excellent organizational skills, effectively managing priorities while meeting timelines
