Job Description:

Senior Associate Epidemiologist / Senior Data Scientist role supporting analytical and research activities related to Real-World evidence generation within CVS Healthspire Payor & Life Sciences Solutions organization

Job Responsibility:

Support analytical and research activities related to Real-World evidence generation
Support the acquisition and analysis of large and complex datasets to support research activities
Contribute to the maintenance and refresh of the infrastructure required for running complex queries and generating insights to support business objectives
Review results, identify quality issues, and perform root cause analysis
Document findings and other Data Management Plan items
Use SAS, SQL, Python as the primary data management tools
Work collaboratively in a team environment

Requirements:

8+ years' experience with healthcare claims data analysis and/or electronic health records
8+ years of experience with SAS, SQL, Python
Experience preparing data management plans and analytical specifications
Advanced scientific comprehension skills
Experience with the Real World Data research initiatives and evidence driven projects
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Must be self-directed
Strong critical thinking skills
Strong collaborative attitude with a desire to impact healthcare
Master's degree required
PhD in Epidemiology, Health Analytics, Health Informatics, or a related field preferred

Nice to have:

Experience with healthcare claims data analysis and/or electronic health records
Track record of contributions to the scientific research literature
Experience with pharmaco-epidemiology and real-world evidence
