I am working with a leading London based cost consultancy who are expanding their team due to a growing commercial portfolio. They are looking for a senior associate cost management professional ready to step up, lead projects, develop teams, and shape client relationships. This role offers exposure to high-profile and technically challenging projects across commercial, healthcare, data centre, higher education, and residential sectors, with contract values ranging from £1M–£165M. You will have the chance to broaden your expertise while taking ownership of complex projects and mentoring junior colleagues.
Job Responsibility:
Lead pre and post contract delivery for multiple projects
Manage cost planning, procurement, tendering, and contract administration
Provide commercial and technical advice, including negotiation and final account settlements
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business growth
Mentor and support junior team members to aid their professional development
Allocate and manage resources to meet financial targets and quality standards
Conduct technical reviews to ensure consistency and excellence across projects
Requirements:
BSc or MSc in cost management, quantity surveying, or a related construction discipline
Extensive experience in a senior consultancy role delivering complex projects
Proven ability to lead multiple projects and support a wider cost management team
Nice to have:
RICS qualification desirable
