We are seeking a Senior Associate to support GLG’s business in South Korea, in the Seoul office. Senior Associates are the engine behind GLG’s Insight Network, the world’s largest and most varied source of first-hand expertise. The Senior Associate role is a fast-paced, expert-facing role. You will help drive GLG’s business forward and add value through close coordination with client-facing team members to fulfil our clients’ needs. As a Senior Associate, you will need to quickly understand project requests in collaboration with client-facing teams, identify and recruit new Network Members (experts) and ensure end-to-end delivery of calls on your team including scheduling, to provide a seamless client experience. Associates complete a comprehensive training program, receive daily coaching and feedback, and develop strong, transferable business and leadership skills that will help them excel in their current and future roles. After achieving specific quantitative and qualitative goals, and depending on the business need, Associates typically progress to Senior Associate roles. Senior Associate roles are client-facing, where expectations include end-to-end project delivery and client relationship-building.
Job Responsibility
Facilitate timely educational interactions between our experts and our clients
Meaningfully contribute to the efforts of GLG's Account Management team to grow revenue
Independently own full accountability and responsibility for a full slate of complex clients
Suggest innovation around products and services
Deliver world-class client service
Establish and foster strong relationships with GLG's primary asset, its experts
Build relationships with key users at client firms including senior level executives
Exercise flawless judgment around GLG's policies and procedures
Clearly communicate to clients the integrity and value of GLG's compliance platform
Suggest innovation around GLG's compliance platform
Implement GLG's policies and procedures for protecting the integrity of client engagements
Train and mentor colleagues
Contribute to key strategic initiatives as requested by GLG leadership
Work in collaborative interoffice teams to grow and promote client relationships
Requirements
Bachelors or higher degree from a top-tier university (or equivalent work experience)
Excellent communication skills and fluency in written English and Korean, fluency in Chinese is an added advantage
2~5 years’ experience in a client-facing or analyst role, or commensurate experience in corporate, consulting, finance, law, journalism or other relevant fields
Passion for solving complex problems and executing best-in-class customer service
Superior communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities
Demonstrated commitment, judgment, maturity, and intensity, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-task-oriented environment
Proven track record in phone-based outreach/sales/recruitment
