Job Responsibility

  • Monthly Accounting Closure: Ensure timely and accurate monthly accounting closure along with schedule review
  • Prepaid & Provision Expenses: Hand on experience to manage the provision expenses month on month
  • MIS Reporting: Prepare and manage Management Information System (MIS) reports related to accounts payable
  • Daily Entries: Record daily entries related to accounts payable
  • Expense Ledger Management: Manage the expenses ledger with detailed insights
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST TDS & TCS and all other relevant regulations
  • Ownership: Take ownership of activity closure and manage the entire accounts payable function related to operational tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce (B.Com) minimum
  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Experience in a startup environment is an advantage
  • Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Zoho
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, with a mandatory focus on Excel

  • Complete accounts payable inventory and freight invoicing for Mammoth Brands
  • Perform 3-way matching (PO + Receiving Report + Vendor Invoice) to ensure quantity and price accuracy
  • Ensure that suppliers used SPS’s EDI correctly and no invoices failed upload into S4.
  • Monitor our inventory GRIR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) balance.
  • Provide customer service to suppliers with payment inquiries and issues
  • Reconcile large vendor statements to identify missing invoices or unapplied credits
  • Research, prepare and analyze any PO discrepancies.
  • Work closely with Cross functional partners to create and update PO tracking procedures
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all invoicing and supplier set up in the system
  • Point person for EDI projects and connectivity
