Job Description:

Staff Relations is a specialized Human Resources function that partners closely with managers, Compliance, Legal, and collaborators in HR to protect Amgen values, investigate potential violations of HR policies, provide practical advice and guidance on coaching staff and managers, and advise on performance and behaviors management, involuntary terminations, and workplace accommodations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support and manage projects and initiatives for Staff Relations Team at AIN
  • Manage Staff Relations content on the MyHR Portal in coordination with the Knowledge Management Team
  • Manage the disciplinary process at AIN for the Information Security Phishing campaign, including coordinating with HRBPs on local requirements
  • Enter, manage and retrieve data from case management system and prepare quarterly and annual metrics presentation
  • Manage probation data and dashboard and Staff Relation case reporting’s
  • Analyze data to identify trends, find efficiencies, and suggest process improvements and system changes
  • Assist with development of tools and templates for Staff Relations team and managers
  • Deliver Staff Relations related trainings, maintain training records, support team’s goal of creating process related awareness
  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all issues
  • Participate as needed in corrective counseling and termination conversations with staff and managers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of HR experience or project management experience
  • Associate’s degree and 6 years of project management experience or HR experience
  • Proficiency in HR systems including Workday, EthicsPoint (or any other case management system)
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and fairly apply company policy, internal HR procedures, and regulatory guidelines within scope of duties
  • Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner
  • Ability to deliver trainings on behavioural/soft skills topics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Advances Excel

  • Awareness of emerging HR compliance issues, internally and externally, and the implications to the company
  • Excellent communication: written/oral/listening, with fluency (written and verbal) in English
