Are you a seasoned hospitality leader with your sights set on running your own venue? The Hamilton Hotel is looking for an ambitious Senior Assistant Manager who is ready to act as the Publican’s right hand and master the art of leading a high-volume flagship operation. "The Hamilton" is a total engine room. From the legendary Hami sports bar to our bustling family bistro and premier gaming lounge, this venue requires a leader with a "big stage" mentality. We are looking for someone who has already mastered the basics and is now ready to dive deep into the commercial and leadership skills required to lead their own hotel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
  • Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
  • Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
  • Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
  • Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Requirements:

  • been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block
  • spent time in a Management role
  • have learned from great managers and now ready to step up
  • have the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
  • have a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements
  • ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently (manual handling and lifting of stock, kegs, and deliveries)
