We are seeking an experienced Senior Asset Integrity Engineer to play a key technical and client facing role in driving our asset integrity business forward. This is a senior position for an experienced and well-connected industry professional who combines deep technical credibility with strong client engagement, project leadership, and business development support capability. You will act as a trusted technical authority, supporting complex integrity assessments while serving as a primary interface with clients. The role focuses on project delivery excellence, identifying opportunities in collaboration with internal teams, and helping to build and sustain long-term client relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage asset integrity projects from scoping through execution and close-out
Develop project plans, schedules, resource requirements, and cost estimates
Monitor and control project performance against scope, budget, and schedule
Manage project risks, change control, and stakeholder expectations
Ensure all deliverables meet agreed technical, contractual, and quality requirements
Provide senior technical oversight and input into integrity assessments and studies
Review and approve technical deliverables produced by engineers and specialists
Apply expert knowledge of degradation mechanisms, inspection planning, and integrity strategies
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, codes, and internal procedures
Act as a primary technical interface with clients during project execution
Present technical outcomes, recommendations, and project status updates at a senior level
Work closely with the Business Development team to support proposals, estimates, and client pursuits
Identify follow-on opportunities during project delivery and communicate them to the Business Development and Operations teams
Leverage industry relationships to support account growth and market presence in collaboration with sales and client account leads
Mentor and support the development of junior and intermediate engineers
Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the integrity team
Champion a strong culture of safety, quality, and professionalism
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or similar discipline)
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered in Alberta or eligible for APEGA registration
Significant experience in asset integrity, inspection, or engineering consulting
Demonstrated experience leading and managing consulting or engineering projects
Strong working knowledge of applicable API, ASME, CSA, and industry standards
Must have valid authorization to work in Canada (permanent resident or valid work permit)
Nice to have:
Certifications such as API 510, 570, 653, 580 are strongly desired
