Job Description:

Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has an opening for a Senior Asphalt Pavement Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona. The Asphalt Pavement Engineer will perform pavement design, subgrade thickness, pavement management systems, forensic evaluations of pavements, writing engineering analysis reports, create mix designs, evaluate materials used in pavements, review laboratory reports and specifications for pavements used in roadways, highways, parking lots, and airports. The successful candidate will also mentor junior staff; provide leadership, maintain client relationships; assist in marketing/business development; provide ongoing training to engineering staff; provide direction and review of engineering work products; and prepare, review and sign pavement proposals and reports.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform pavement design, subgrade thickness, pavement management systems, forensic evaluations of pavements

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering PE license
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • M.S. in Civil Engineering with pavement emphasis or concentration required
  • Licensed professional engineer in Arizona
  • Over 10 years of experience as a pavement engineer
  • Well-rounded background in civil engineering
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Track record of successful client relationships and service
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of pavement engineering
