Senior Asphalt Pavement Engineer

• Perform pavement design, subgrade thickness, pavement management systems, forensic evaluations of pavements
• Write engineering analysis reports
• Create mix designs
• Evaluate materials used in pavements
• Review laboratory reports and specifications for pavements used in roadways, highways, parking lots, and airports
• Mentor junior staff
• Provide leadership
• Maintain client relationships
• Assist in marketing/business development
• Provide ongoing training to engineering staff
• Provide direction and review of engineering work products
• Prepare, review and sign pavement proposals and reports

• Civil Engineering PE license
• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• M.S. in Civil Engineering with pavement emphasis or concentration required
• Licensed professional engineer in Arizona
• Over 10 years of experience as a pavement engineer
• Well-rounded background in civil engineering
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Track record of successful client relationships and service
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of pavement engineering
• Work experience with construction and paving activities
