Scalefocus, a global software services provider, is in search of a Senior Area Sales Manager to expand its local presence on the German market and gradually build a sales team to cover the entire DACH region. Job Responsibility:
In charge of sales and outbound demand generation activities on the German market
Lead and mentor a team of 2 dedicated SDRs to further accelerate outbound demand generation
Qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities in your assigned territory
Create and implement a strategic territory plan to accelerate new business acquisition
Closely collaborate with the Marketing department to implement new strategies for increasing brand awareness
Foster new partnerships to drive demand generation
Lead the efforts in complex proposals and RFP/I/Q responses
Plan and execute together with Marketing, lead generation activities such as events, webinars and campaigns for your designated territory
Complete sales reporting, tracking of opportunities in CRM, analysis of sales data, results
Requirements:
7 years of experience in B2B sales, of which at least 3 in selling software services to German clients
Experience in selling software solutions or services in one or more of the following industries: Banking, Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Telecom, Logistics, Aviation or iGaming
Proven track record of reaching quota and closing complex deals
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Experience in writing complex proposals with clearly defined value propositions
Expertise in working with CRM tools (preferably Salesforce)
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Self-driven, result-oriented, and motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills who can work independently
Storyteller who loves prospecting large accounts
Ability to develop and nurture relationships with senior executives
Nice to have:
Extensive experience in selling software services on the German market
Previous sales management experience
Experience in one or more of the following industries: BFSI, Healthcare, eCommerce, Energy & Utilities, and ICT
