Job Description

As a Senior Area Manager, you will oversee 9 stores across Western Australia, and take full responsibility for driving commercial performance, operations and team development across your area. This role is responsible for one of our highest revenue-generating areas in the country and plays a critical part in shaping the next level of leadership capability across our store network. This is a senior, large-scale leadership position accountable for a $60m+ portfolio across 9 stores (Including new stores opening at Morley and Midland Gate), leading a team of 15 direct reports including an Area Manager for SA/NT.

Job Responsibility

  • Full commercial accountability across a $60m+ portfolio
  • Drive profitable growth across sales, conversion, ATV and payroll control
  • Build and elevate high-performance Store Manager capability
  • Strengthen leadership bench and succession pipelines across all stores
  • Identify underperformance early and execute decisive commercial action plans
  • Embed operational excellence and brand consistency at scale
  • Partner with national and Support Office leaders to shape area strategy
  • Build an area that consistently outperforms market benchmarks

Requirements

  • Proven multi-site retail leader with experience across 8+ high-volume stores
  • Experience managing a $50m+ turnover portfolio, ideally larger
  • Demonstrated history of outperforming sales and profit benchmarks
  • Commercially sharp, data-driven and financially literate
  • Track record of building high-performance Store Manager teams
  • Comfortable operating in competitive, fast-paced retail environments
  • Confident making tough decisions when performance demands it
  • Experience within sports fashion or high-volume fashion retail preferred
