Job Description:

Senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. This role will be operating within the Engineering & Architecture team within our Operations Technology group in Citi. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead integration of functions to meet goals, deploy new products, and enhance processes
  • Analyze complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to define and develop solutions to high level problems
  • Provide expertise in area of knowledge of applications programming and plan assignments involving large budgets, cross functional project, or multiple projects
  • Develop application methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of supported main system flows and comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas to achieve technology goals
  • Consult with end users to identify system function specifications and incorporate into overall system design
  • Allocate work, and act as an advisor/coach developers, analysts, and new team members
  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders and communicate with external parties
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
  • Facilitate collaboration between Branch Agents, Contact Center Advocates, and development teams to efficiently resolve system health issues impacting employee productivity
  • Conduct live sessions with front-line employees and tech teams to identify root causes and implement user-centric solutions for system issues
  • Enhance technology governance by incorporating employee experience metrics into best practices and compliance audits
  • Oversee operational support for internal applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering employee efficiency
  • Partner with IT service management to minimize disruption and ensure continuity for employee applications
  • Collaborate with Technology partners to implement solutions that improve internal application capabilities and employee experience
  • Act as a liaison between tech teams, business units, and leadership to foster innovation and improve the employee technology landscape

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience within engineering and architecture domain
  • Experience in implementing projects
  • Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
  • Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development
  • Demonstrated knowledge of client core business functions
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and development skills
  • Relationship and consensus building skills
  • Proven experience in Engineering & Architecture with a focus on Enterprise Architecture
  • Ability to road map and develop strategic roadmaps for new programs
  • Experience as a Technical Delivery Manager across multiple diverse domains
  • Proficiency in Technical Engineering Tools, including those related to Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Strong background in Engineering Enablement
  • Expertise in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) and Next-Generation Architecture principles
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with Microservices architecture
  • Domain experience in Call Center and KYC (Know Your Customer) processes
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java and Python
  • Familiarity with PEGA/Salesforce platforms is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent leader, capable of wearing multiple hats
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, adapting to evolving project needs
  • A track record of successfully navigating and resolving enterprise complexities
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
