As the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Architect to join our team in Bristol. You will be supporting high profile projects across all a range of sectors at our offices in the city centre of Bristol. We are an AJ100 architecture practice and a significant part of a multi-disciplinary design practice. Our design portfolio is world class, and we are currently working on several exciting new projects including advanced manufacturing, Science, Healthcare, Education, Defence and Workplace projects which results in a diverse, growing, and exciting practice. We work across the UK and internationally, where we both design and deliver a range of projects in terms of scale and sector. We are known for our collaborative and consultative approach, integrated multi-disciplinary design philosophy and technical excellence. We pride ourselves in applying these skills when designing and delivering environments to enhance human activities and experiences.

  • Supporting high profile projects across all a range of sectors
  • Working on projects which include Workplace, Residential & Master Planning, Education, Defence and many more

Requirements:

  • Design & Technical Leadership qualities
  • Strong design and technical detailing skills
  • Ability to express ideas effectively, orally, graphically and in writing
  • Experience in preparing technical drawings packages and specifications
  • Providing a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within deadlines
  • Managing planning applications, Building Regulations
  • Inspection of building work on site
  • Knowledge of UK best practice standards
  • Develop customer relationships to find additional opportunities to address their challenges
  • Assist in Business Development
  • Experience of working on defence, education or commercial projects is desirable but not essential
  • Candidates must ensure the highest design quality throughout all projects and be able to work efficiently & diligently to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail and maintaining high standards of work
