Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer (Playwright, RestAssured, TS/JS) to join a project - a clinical trial technology platform. It’s designed to digitize, streamline, and accelerate clinical trial operations across the full study lifecycle. The solution represents an end-to-end clinical trial management ecosystem that integrates multiple tools into one platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of the products, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes within a distributed team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and automated tests
  • Develop and execute automated testing scripts according to standards using Playwright and Rest Assured
  • Participate in code reviews for automation scripts and contribute to testing and quality assurance best practices
  • Contribute to test data management automation efforts
  • Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, leveraging automation and innovative testing solutions
  • Work independently and as part of Agile sprints in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality results within globally distributed teams

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright for web application/API testing and Rest Assured for API testing
  • Solid experience with programming languages such as TypeScript/ JavaScript
  • Practical experience with Java programming language
  • Strong experience working with and testing relational databases
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Familiarity with AI-based testing technologies and tools
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for thorough analysis of system requirements and test scenarios
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines in globally distributed teams
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the healthcare domain, particularly with clinical trials
  • Basic understanding of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience validating data across multiple data platforms and interfaces
  • Experience with ETL tools such as IICS, Informatica PowerCenter, or similar
  • Ability to analyze complex data mapping documents and convert them into end-to-end (E2E) test cases
  • Knowledge of data profiling processes and ETL scheduling tools
  • Experience with performance testing tools
