The App support Sr Analyst is a senior role, hands-on specialist who uses deep domain knowledge to improve processes, tools and workflows within the function. They analyze moderately complex, variable issues with meaningful business impact, weigh options and drive practical solutions. Strong communication, diplomacy, and informal leadership are expected, including coaching or training others, and influence decisions through expert advise that affects team performance and outcomes
Job Responsibility:
Monitor systems, batches and interfaces
quickly troubleshoot and resolve incidents to keep trading operations running
Coordination fixes, root-case analysis and stakeholder communications
handover cleanly across shifts or teams
Drive permanent fixes, SLA improvements, and resource optimizations, maintain and update runbook and docs
Use monitoring, ticketing and collaboration tools, support automation, Incident/change management
Work closely with traders, operation, middle office, developers, business team and downstream partners
Shift coverage: Team works in 09 hour shifts between 07:00 – 19:00 SGT to cover critical APAC windows
Requirements:
Hands on front-office application support
proven troubleshooting, incident resolution and shift based operational ownership
Comfortable with Oracle SQL and/or Solaris/Linux
able to navigate systems, build adhoc queries and perform basic admin tasks
Working knowledge of windows, networks
Exposure to cloud, devops tooling, real time monitoring (Geneos/ITRS/Splunk or similar) or incident/problem management tools(ServiceNow or similar)
Python/shell scripting or similar scripting for automation or support tasks
Strong analytical, organizational and detail orientation
able to plan workload, document clearly and model to use spreadsheets
Positive attitude, keen to learn, effective under stress and tight timelines
clear verbal and written communication across tech, operations and business partners
Prior or strong interest in financial products, markets and related workflows
5-8 years’ experience preferred in application support role
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
