Job Description:

For this position, we are looking for a Senior Application Production Engineer who can assist one of our clients - a leading technology provider for private banking and wealth management, serving financial institutions across Europe and Asia. The Senior Application Production Engineer will ensure the operational stability, support, and deployment of e/mBanking applications and related APIs. The role is focused on RUN / MCO activities, incident diagnosis, application support, and release execution across multiple environments and technologies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform incident diagnosis and coordinate technical resolution with relevant teams
  • Execute deployments, releases, and configuration changes using XL Deploy, XL Release, and CI/CD tools
  • Support application runtimes across Linux and Windows environments
  • Contribute to production stability, operational improvement, and release readiness
  • Work closely with development technical leads and other support teams to resolve cross-functional issues
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and ensure service continuity during operational events
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in application production support, RUN, or MCO environments
  • Good knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Docker, and API-based application landscapes
  • Experience with deployment and release tools such as XL Deploy, XL Release, and Jenkins or equivalent
  • Solid knowledge of Linux environments
  • Windows knowledge is also required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose production incidents in complex environments
  • Ability to work across multiple technologies and teams in a support-oriented role
  • Fluent English is mandatory

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to private cloud or Azure environments
  • Basic scripting or automation skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
  • Experience with monitoring or observability tools
  • Knowledge of application migration or transformation contexts
