CommScope is seeking a Senior Application Developer, Digital Workplace to lead the design, governance, and evolution of employee‑facing digital workplace platforms, including an enterprise intranet and collaboration environment built on SharePoint Online, along with Power Platform–based workflow and automation solutions. This role is responsible for enabling modern collaboration, digital productivity, and business process automation across the organization. The Senior Application Developer acts as a platform owner and technical leader, partnering with business stakeholders, architects, security, and DevOps teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, well‑governed, and aligned with enterprise strategy. The role requires strong hands‑on expertise combined with architectural decision‑making, leadership, and end‑to‑end ownership of digital workplace platforms in a global enterprise environment.
Job Responsibility:
Own the enterprise intranet and collaboration platform built on SharePoint Online
Define and enforce standards for information architecture, permissions, security, branding, and user experience
Lead the design and use of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Logic Apps) as the primary mechanism for digital workplace workflows and automation
Establish enterprise patterns and standards for low‑code / no‑code solutions that are scalable, secure, and supportable
Integrate intranet and Power Platform solutions with enterprise applications, data sources, and services
Enable automation‑driven and AI‑assisted scenarios
Provide leadership for daily operations, monitoring, and continuous improvement of intranet and Power Platform environments
Mentor and guide developers, administrators, and power users working on digital workplace solutions
Act as a trusted advisor to business teams on collaboration, workflow automation, and productivity use cases
Own technical documentation, architectural decisions, and platform standards
Requirements:
5+ years experience in enterprise digital workplace or collaboration platforms
Strong experience with SharePoint Online, including architecture, permissions, governance, and lifecycle management
Strong hands‑on and technical leadership experience designing and governing low‑code / no‑code solutions at enterprise scale
Solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, identity, and access management concepts
Ability to design solutions that balance business agility with governance and supportability
Strong troubleshooting and production‑support experience
Proven ability to lead technical decisions and mentor others
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Nice to have:
Experience integrating digital workplace platforms with enterprise applications or APIs
PowerShell scripting or automation experience
Exposure to AI capabilities within Microsoft 365 / SharePoint (e.g., Copilot, intelligent search, content intelligence)
Experience working in a global enterprise environment
Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or cloud‑related certifications
