AXA Partners is seeking a Senior Application Analyst to join the team in Shannon. An exciting opportunity to proactively engage in the support and cost effective delivery of support solutions for a vast number of Business Applications across 25 countries. Serving as a liaison between the IT and the Business organizations, the Senior Application Analyst will perform a key role within AXA Partners IT.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a Senior Application Analyst on IT Business Applications
Analyses and validates Support incidents and resolves if possible on first contact
Managing Tickets on Various Ticketing Systems
Translates Support Incidents into defect tracking tool and liaises with 3rd line support functions or suppliers to manage delivery
Ensure pro-active management of incidents and communication regarding the progress with client groups and wider business as necessary
Serves as direct liaison to the business in order to manage the Product Owners prioritization
Maintains functional peer relationships across the various business functions, clients and suppliers
Participates in continuous process improvement activities and support quality initiatives
Supports operations with ad hoc queries/questions and Application Training needs
Manages communication for System Performance Issues with the business and the Network, DBA, Server teams
Manages associated Change Controls as part of the Release Management Process
Supports IT Strategic Projects including Application Platform migrations such as transition to Cloud
Delivery of Technical Enhancements to supported Applications
Engages in resolutions for IT controllership issues/tasks for Support Function
Willing to take on support ownership of new applications including Training/Learning/Engaging with Suppliers
Manage and maintain the related tools such as Application Servers & Application Services
Test, Debug and Troubleshoot the applications, as required
Collaborate with other teams with IT and Business for end-to-end delivery of the solutions
Mentoring Team Members to pro-actively share knowledge, expertise and advice, providing knowledge transfer with in the Team
Requirements:
Experience in SLA delivery and working under pressure
Experience in client engagement and an appreciation of excellence in customer service
Experience in Business and Systems analysis
Familiarity with basic networking and infrastructure design principles
Solid written and oral communication. Experience coordinating with various IT functions such as Networks, Security, and QA etc.
Knowledge and experience in implementing Security best practices
Ability to quickly grasp business and technical concepts and articulate these in an unambiguous and concise manner
Ability to work on own initiative and lead small groups
Mentoring / Training in person and remote
Broad understanding of business, business technology and business applications
