Senior APPIAN developer role at Ivy Partners, a Swiss consulting firm that supports businesses in their strategic, technological, and organizational challenges.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborating with project managers and key clients to define business processes
  • Gathering functional and technical system requirements
  • Designing and implementing BPM based solutions using Appian BPM software
  • Assisting clients in identifying other business process opportunities that could be targeted with Appian's software
  • Following internal delivery process and standards
  • Designing and implementing technical solutions and writing technical specifications
  • Participating in Product Testing of delivered solutions

Requirements

  • Possess expertise in BPM solutions or similar fields such as test automation
  • Skilled in consulting methodologies like process mapping
  • Have familiarity with agile methodologies and experience building solutions in cross-functional teams
  • Understand database concepts and have experience with major databases like Oracle, SQL Server, & MySQL, or other RDBMS databases
  • Proficient in JAVA development (JAVA Core 7+)
  • Have proficiency in JSON or similar data structures (e.g., XML)
  • Are comfortable working in an English environment

Nice to have

  • Technical and functional expertise in IDEs like IntelliJ or Eclipse
  • Other technologies/programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, Web Services, RESTful Services
  • Experience troubleshooting in a development perspective
