Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior AP/AR Analyst to join our team in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. In this role, you will manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with room for growth and attention to detail.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including researching and resolving short payments, unauthorized deductions, and pricing disputes
  • Perform daily reconciliations of customer portals and ensure accurate submission of backup documentation and debit memos
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain to validate claims and recover funds effectively
  • Monitor AR aging reports, escalate overdue balances, and apply credit holds to accounts when necessary
  • Generate detailed monthly deduction and aging reports to support financial tracking and analysis
  • Ensure adherence to customer routing guides and vendor scorecard requirements
  • Process a high volume of vendor invoices related to trade spending, freight, and third-party services
  • Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payment issues promptly
  • Conduct payment runs using various methods, ensuring compliance with vendor terms and maximizing early-payment discounts
  • Address vendor inquiries with care and maintain strong relationships with suppliers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable or related financial roles
  • Proficiency in full charge bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Strong skills in cash handling and posting payments to accounts
  • Experience with account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
  • Advanced knowledge of NetSuite and Excel, including formula creation and data analysis
  • Ability to manage high volumes of transactions with precision and efficiency
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance
