Job Description

We’re hiring an Senior Analytics Product Lead who is also the hands-on Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our web and mobile app analytics platforms Adobe Analytics and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), inclusive of the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) data collection layer where applicable. This person is the go-to product expert who understands the stack end-to-end from event collection and identity through processing, governance, and reporting—and can troubleshoot issues across the full chain (source events → platform configuration → downstream reporting). You’ll drive the analytics platform readiness and operating model across owned channels (websites, landing pages, apps, blogs, event experiences, and key social destination flows), ensuring teams have trusted, well-governed data and self-serve capabilities to support measurement, experimentation, optimization, and insights.

Job Responsibility

  • Adobe Analytics & CJA platform SME (hands-on): Serve as the primary expert for Adobe Analytics and CJA configuration, capabilities/limitations, best practices, and day-to-day troubleshooting across collection, processing, and reporting
  • Platform operating model & governance: Establish and run the analytics product operating model: standards, governance, templates, enablement, release discipline, access controls, and platform health so teams can self-serve with confidence and consistency
  • KPI semantics & single source of truth: Oversee the definition and governance of KPI semantics across web + app (event definitions, metric meaning, and reporting rules), ensuring consistent interpretation across Adobe Analytics and CJA
  • Escalation & complex issue resolution: Act as the primary escalation point for complex platform issues, including data gaps, schema drift, identity challenges, attribution anomalies, reporting discrepancies (Adobe Analytics vs CJA), dataset/connection failures, and integration breakages
  • Configuration standards (Adobe Analytics + CJA): Define and maintain configuration standards as applicable, including: CJA datasets, connections, data views, derived/enriched fields, calculated metrics, segment patterns, attribution models, and Workspace standards
  • Adobe Analytics report suites, processing rules, eVars/props/events, classifications, marketing channels (as applicable), and Workspace/dashboard standards
  • Embody our culture and values

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience
  • 7+ years in product analytics, analytics platform ownership, or analytics engineering roles supporting web + mobile app analytics
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Adobe Analytics, including platform configuration, governance, troubleshooting, and stakeholder enablement
  • 5+ years familiarity with adjacent ecosystem tools and concepts (e.g., AEP Data Collection / tags, experimentation measurement, identity and attribution concepts, dashboard/workspace best practices)
  • 5+ years understanding analytics platform internals: event-based data models, identity, segmentation, attribution, and Workspace/dashboard configuration
  • 5+ years operating as a platform SME: end-to-end troubleshooting from source events → data collection/config → reporting outputs across Adobe Analytics and CJA

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience
