Reporting directly to the APAC Analytics Lead, you will represent our analytics services in Korea. We are looking for a Senior Analytics Team Leader to lead and grow our Analytics team in Korea. This is a key leadership role for an expert who understands the local market and wants to help build our business in Seoul. Your main goal is to connect technical data work with business goals. You will help our clients use their data better while managing and training the local team of analysts. You will play a major role in finding new business, helping with sales pitches, and making Jellyfish a top partner for analytics in Korea.
Job Responsibility:
Grow the Business in Korea: Work with local Sales teams to find new clients and projects
Help expand our list of local and global clients in Seoul
Sales and Proposals: Explain our services to clients in a simple way
Create proposals, estimate how many hours a project will take, and calculate the cost
Explain the value of data to senior client managers (C-level)
Team Leadership: Manage the Seoul analytics team
Assign tasks, manage the team's workload to protect work-life balance, set goals (KPIs), and train the team to improve their skills
Client Strategy & Workshops: Act as the main advisor for big clients
Create long-term measurement plans, run client workshops, and help them start testing programs (A/B testing)
Quality Control & Documentation: Responsible for the quality of the work your team produces
Includes creating tracking plans (implementation guides) and solving the most difficult technical problems
Technical Expert: Be an expert in the Google Marketing Platform (GA4, GTM) and Visualization (Looker Studio) to guide the team on Web and App projects
Process Improvement: Actively look for ways to automate processes and improve how the team works to make delivery more efficient
Requirements:
People Management: Experience leading a team
Experience with hiring, conducting performance reviews, and mentoring junior staff
Commercial Portfolio: Experience supporting or managing large client portfolios ($500,000+ in annual service fees)
Understanding of agency economics, retention, and growth
Bilingual fluency in Korean and English
Professional English Level (Written & Spoken) required
5+ years of total experience in digital analytics
Experience working in an agency is preferred
Google Expert: Expert mastery of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (Web & App)
Korea Ecosystem: Solid understanding of how to track and attribute traffic from Naver (Search/Shopping) and Kakao environments
Data & Visualization: Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, and designing actionable dashboards in Looker Studio
Technical Depth: Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to troubleshoot tracking codes and communicate effectively with developers
Client-Focused: You enjoy building good relationships with clients and helping their business grow
Problem Solver: When there is a problem, you work with others to find a practical solution
Nice to have:
Mobile Analytics: Familiarity with MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Airbridge) and iOS tracking challenges (SKAdNetwork)
Cloud Knowledge: Understanding of Cloud Fundamentals (GCP or AWS)
