We are looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Rides Product team to empower the organisation with scalable, reusable, high-quality data products and solutions to improve the experience of many millions of riders and drivers across the globe. As a Senior Analytics Engineering Manager in the Rides Product team, you will lead a team of Analytics Engineers and build scalable, high-quality data products that power decision-making across Bolt. Your mission is to create a unified, reliable “single source of truth” for one of our most complex domains. You’ll act as a strategic partner to Product, driving the Analytics Engineering mindset, treating data as a product, enabling self-service, and accelerating time to insight. Job Responsibility:
Lead and mentor a high-performing team: build and manage a team of Analytics Engineers, providing technical mentorship, driving career growth, and fostering a culture of ownership
Strategic planning and impact: translate complex business requirements into a clear technical roadmap, balancing short-term delivery with long-term architectural health
Empower self-service and AI analytics: own the end-to-end delivery of high-quality data products that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions independently
Architect scalable data foundations: partner with the Analytics Engineering and Data Platform team to make key architectural decisions about the company data model, processes and tech stack, ensuring a performant, reusable, and scalable analytics layer that serves as the 'single source of truth.'
Bridge the gap between producers and consumers: act as a strategic partner to both Engineering (Data Producers) and Business/Analytics (Data Consumers) to ensure data models reflect evolving business needs
Requirements:
Experience managing a data team, either in the analytics or data engineering function or, ideally, combining the two
Significant experience with data modeling, developing analytics architectures for large volumes of data and can demonstrate tangible impact in the area
Deep technical understanding and leadership experience with core data technologies (SQL, Python, dbt, Apache Airflow, etc.)
Strategic partner in setting and enforcing system design and architectural best practices with a focus on reusability, maintainability, reliability, and scalability
Strong cross-functional collaborator with a good business sense and excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
Hold a Bachelor and/or Master degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Business, or similar studies
