Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Rides Product team to empower the organisation with scalable, reusable, high-quality data products and solutions to improve the experience of many millions of riders and drivers across the globe. As a Senior Analytics Engineering Manager in the Rides Product team, you will lead a team of Analytics Engineers and build scalable, high-quality data products that power decision-making across Bolt. Your mission is to create a unified, reliable “single source of truth” for one of our most complex domains. You’ll act as a strategic partner to Product, driving the Analytics Engineering mindset, treating data as a product, enabling self-service, and accelerating time to insight. This is an opportunity to build and scale a world-class analytics layer in a fast-paced, global environment impacting millions of riders and drivers every day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team: build and manage a team of Analytics Engineers, providing technical mentorship, driving career growth, and fostering a culture of ownership
  • Strategic planning and impact: translate complex business requirements into a clear technical roadmap, balancing short-term delivery with long-term architectural health
  • Empower self-service and AI analytics: own the end-to-end delivery of high-quality data products that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions independently
  • Architect scalable data foundations: partner with the Analytics Engineering and Data Platform team to make key architectural decisions about the company data model, processes and tech stack, ensuring a performant, reusable, and scalable analytics layer that serves as the 'single source of truth.'
  • Bridge the gap between producers and consumers: act as a strategic partner to both Engineering (Data Producers) and Business/Analytics (Data Consumers) to ensure data models reflect evolving business needs

Requirements:

  • Experience managing a data team, either in the analytics or data engineering function or, ideally, combining the two
  • Significant experience with data modeling, developing analytics architectures for large volumes of data and can demonstrate tangible impact in the area
  • Deep technical understanding and leadership experience with core data technologies (SQL, Python, dbt, Apache Airflow, etc.)
  • Strategic partner in setting and enforcing system design and architectural best practices with a focus on reusability, maintainability, reliability, and scalability
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with a good business sense and excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Hold a Bachelor and/or Master degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Business, or similar studies
What we offer:
  • Get a rewarding salary and stock option package that lets you focus on doing your best work
  • Enjoy the flexibility of working in a hybrid mode with a minimum of 2 days in the office each week to foster strong connections and teamwork
  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks
