Job Description:

Senior Analytics Consultant role at Wells Fargo's Corporate & Investment Banking line within Finance business. The position serves as a member of the CIB Finance Data Insights & Analytics Team, supporting COO/CFO Team in establishing business and client priorities, partnering with the broader organization, and running day-to-day operations.

Job Responsibility:

Consult with business line and enterprise functions on research
Use functional knowledge to assist in non-model quantitative tools that support strategic decision making
Perform analysis of findings and trends using statistical analysis
Present recommendations to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency, quality, and compliance
Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations
Participate in all group technology efforts including design and implementation of database structures, analytics software, storage, and processing
Develop customized reports and ad hoc analyses
Understand compliance and risk management requirements
Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations
Participate in company initiatives to assist in meeting risk and capital objectives
Conduct in-depth analyses and prepare strategic and analytical dashboard/reports for senior management
Creating performance reports by various coverage and product groups using metrics from Salesforce
Perform ad-hoc data analysis including analysis around banker productivity, deal pipeline, credit exposure, market share analysis, and human capital initiatives
Support Corporate Investment Bank wide initiatives and projects
Assist with regular recurring business partner discussions and recurring pipeline meetings
Execute and distribute standardized reporting
Establish and maintain strong relationships with business and technology partners

Requirements:

4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
Knowledge and understanding of Corporate & Investment Banking
Ability to research and report on a variety of issues like company hierarchy building using problem solving skills
Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution
Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels
Experience in financial analysis including company assessment and internal client/LOB financial performance analysis
Proficient in Excel (Advanced), including advanced financial functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
Competent in creating KPI reporting to track financial and operational performance
Capable of applying data-driven decision making
Expertise in financial analysis to assess business performance, profitability, and financial health
Project Management skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to integrate data/financial analysis into streamlined presentations
